Parenting Event- Oct. 13th, Albuquerque, NM

Parents are faced with many demands as they do their best to raise their family. In the course of all those demands, it is easy to react in ways often regretted later. Even the best parents encounter feeling guilt and worry about the job they are doing. Children may react to their parents in ways that don't show honor or gratitude to their parents. The results for many families is a lot of yelling, exhaustion from all the demands and feeling unappreciated for all the efforts made by parents. In this presentation participants will learn to apply the 3 secrets that will:
  • Turn yelling into nurturing and empowering responses. 
  • Allow you to meet the demands of raising children with ease.
  • Gain respect from your children that create deeper bonds.
This event is directed towards all adults who connect with children- parents, teachers, grandparents, and child care providers- bring about effective communication, stronger support, and improved confidence.

Mary Dravis-Parrish, CBF, CFMW, Parent Whisperer, Author of Empowered Parents Empowering Kids, speaker and radio host of Be You Parenting on Inspired Choices Network and parent, knows very well how yelling, demands and disrespect can create distance in family relationships. She brings 18 years teaching kids with special needs, 12 years in private practice working with children and families as tutor, coach and support, 8 years with Facilitation certification in empowered living skills as well as her extensive parenting experience as a teen parent, single parent, co-parent, step parent, and grieving parent. She knows the struggles and has the tools to be empowered through the most difficult of situations.

Annie Chin Taylor, M.Ed, enjoys facilitating change for those seeking something different in their lives. She’s currently a mother of two college students, a bodywork facilitator, and empowerment coach. For the past 12 years, Annie has presented an array of empowerment and mind-body wellness tools in schools, at work sites, at conferences, in online classes, and to community organizations as well as working with private clients. She assists people of all ages in unraveling emotional patterns and moving beyond what they’ve decided are limitations. Her target is to empower individuals to create lives that inspire them by uncovering and acknowledging the unique gift that they are to the world.
