Becoming more flexible makes for more stability.
If we focus on only being stable, we tend to live a life of resistance and disappointment as we try to control things that are not in our control. What if you can have stability and be flexible at the same time.
I recently heard from Marcus Schmieke, physicist and spiritualist, that the definition of Coherence (Universal Love) is a balance between being stable and being flexible. Just like trees have a stable foundation in their trunk yet are able to be flexible and bend with the wind.
Being flexible is a valuable asset in all areas of our lives.
Start with the ability to become more flexible in your body. I have been learning through my yoga practice that as I work on increasing my level of flexibility, my body responds by being more stable, stronger and able to endure more. As I engage my body in activity, I combine the stability with my flexibility to create more harmony and balance. This makes my body much happier.
Moving on to being flexible in how I respond to life. I discover that when I am open and able to bend with the changes that life throws my way, I engage a stronger ability to be stable. When I sense that I am getting angry, resentful or bitter because something has changed, I move into a space of curiosity.
What if this change actually works out better than what I had expected or planned?
If I am not willing to be flexible and willing to bend to receive something greater, I will stay stuck in feeling down and maybe even sorry for myself. I can empower myself to flex and receive and in doing so, I become more stable. Changes aren't going to knock me down, make me feel less than or feel like a victim.
And if you are on my Facebook page, you'll see that I am expanding my High Vibration word of the day to become the word of the week. Each day I post an insight/reminder regarding the word of the week.
